I’d really like to be able to look forward in time to see how my assets and debts look in the future based on my budgets and how I adhere to them.

I would really benefit from the ability to see projected balances of my deposit accounts taking into consideration the recurrings and credit card balances scheduled to be paid from them.

One feature I’d love to see is a compound interest calculator that takes your current investment value as principle, allows you to enter your expected ROI, monthly contribution, and shows investment value over time.
More advanced features could include automatically forecasting based on your current contributions, investment holdings, market conditions, historical return, etc.
An even cooler feature after this would be if you could adjust your budget categories and see how this affects your forecasted net worth over time based on the aforementioned parameters.
With this in mind, copilot could aggregate user data and create benchmarks that show how much you spend on certain categories based on people of similar age, income, and location. Copilot could use this to automatically recommend ways you could reduce expenses and invest differently to increase your future net worth.
It’d be great if there was a chart that showed you based on your current investment contributions and expenses when you’d reach financial independence based on the 4% rule.
Anyway, I digress. Love this app and look forward to future features.

See net worth projections for individual accounts, like being able to see when a 401k will be roughly X, or what it will be in 50 yrs.

I assume this is already on a backlog somewhere and not likely to be built soon —- BUT: there’s a strange lack of high quality D2C financial planning software. Having the ability to project retirement needs and evaluate the impact of current burn rate and large planned expenses on your ability to retire would be great!

If you know the holdings already, we should be able to have a ‘projected income’ report for the calendar year and/or the next twelve months.

Based on recurring transactions (both spending and income) be able to forecast checking account balances into the future. This is nice to know how much money you’ll need in the account in the future. For example: you want to move some money into savings/investments but you want to make sure you have enough to pay any upcoming auto draft expenses

Might be a cool idea to be able to set a expense account such as a checking where all my bills come out and with certain reoccurring coming out could send a alert or show if enough is in account
